As National Homelessness Week came to a close, our team travelled to Brisbane to visit Emmanuel City Mission—and we came home with our hearts full and our hopes even bigger. For us, this was more than just a visit. As part of National Homelessness Week, members of the Table of St Francis visited Sunshine Coast Mayor Rosanna Natoli at her office.

The Table of St. Francis acknowledges the Kabi Kabi people, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we gather and serve. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

In the Franciscan spirit of peace, dignity and compassion, we walk together towards healing, reconciliation and a community where everyone has a place at the table.
