A Visit to Emmanuel City Mission
As National Homelessness Week came to a close, our team travelled to Brisbane to visit Emmanuel City Mission—and we came home with our hearts full and our hopes even bigger.
For us, this was more than just a visit. We had the chance to see a place where people experiencing homelessness can find meals, showers, clothing, support and, most importantly, a place where they are welcomed and known.
It gave us a glimpse of what could one day be possible here on the Sunshine Coast and strengthened our vision for something beyond our weekly outreach—a permanent place of welcome, support and hope.
We’re incredibly grateful to the Emmanuel City Mission team for opening their doors, sharing their experience and inspiring us.
We went to Brisbane to learn. We came home dreaming bigger. ❤️
