More Than Physical Strength

The mission found another expression through Divinity Health & Fitness in Woombye, Sunshine Coast—founded on the belief that caring for people goes far beyond physical health. It means nurturing the whole person: mind, body and spirit.

What began around health and fitness gradually developed into a holistic wellbeing space, bringing together professionals from different disciplines and creating a place where physical, emotional and mental wellbeing could be supported under one roof.

Today, Divinity offers a range of services, including personal training with Ian and Elijah Rook, self-defence classes, PEMF therapy with Christine Kuhnert, osteopathy with Dr Gaelle Le Corre, and mental health support from accredited mental health social worker Branislav (Slav) Antonijevic and his team.

Yet Divinity has always been about more than the services it provides.

At its heart is a desire to welcome people of different abilities, backgrounds and life circumstances, including those who may experience disability, mental health challenges, isolation or disadvantage. It is a place where people can work towards becoming stronger while also finding encouragement, connection and support.

And when someone has little capacity to pay, the philosophy has remained simple: help where we can. The purpose was never simply about making money, but about creating a community where care could remain within reach.

Table of St Francis Logo

The Table of St. Francis acknowledges the Kabi Kabi people, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we gather and serve. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

In the Franciscan spirit of peace, dignity and compassion, we walk together towards healing, reconciliation and a community where everyone has a place at the table.
